Official Pace Car of the Detroit Grand Prix IV
The 1985 Mercury Motorsport Capri was a Detroit district drive away program vehicle for Lincoln/Mercury. It was built as the official pace car for the 4th annual Detroit Grand Prix by Ford/Lincoln/Mercury with assistance from ASC McLaren.
Only 30 were known to have been built, making it one of the rarest Mercury Capri's produced.
