As far as the actual Safety Car, details are a little sketchy. What is known about it is that the original owner still had it as of late 2002 & was still located in or around Dearborn, MI.
The car was in a light accident sometime around 1988 & had sections re-painted. At that time the car was stripped of most of the decals. It has been spotted multilple times over the years but a full documention of the car has eluded us for years.
As of 2002 it was still on the road in good shape.
