All 30 Motorsport Capri’s were not customer ordered cars so buyers were stuck with whatever options had been installed. Some Motorsport Capri’s were fully loaded with every available option, some had a few options and a couple of cars had no options.
Very limited options were available for the Capri in 1985. They were:
3 different radios were available in 1985. An AM/FM manual radio was the standard model. Electronic Sound featured a cassette player & digial display. The top radio option was Premium Sound. This was the same basic radio as the Electronic Sound but featured a hidden dash mounted amp.
Interior was the basic sport interior that was in all performance versions of the Mercury Capri & Ford Mustang in 1985. Interior color for nearly all of the Motorsport Capri’s was the tu-tone gray. The articulated sport seats featured red pinstripes. 2 Motorsport Capri's have been found with red interior.
